Let's Get the Word Out ::: Sponsor a Word

PREVIEW...

Let's Get The Word Out was inspired by the popular eBook that shook the network marketing industry while also stirring the political ire of many. Authored by former Amway Quixtar emerald level IBO, Eric Scheibeler, the book is a chilling portrayal of the process by which intelligent people can persist for years in pursuing the Amway (Quixtar) dream, ultimately being bilked of thousands of dollars in what MSNBC Dateline called the "hidden business". This "dirty little secret" makes a few Amway Quixtar kingpins very wealthy selling motivational books, tapes, web sites, CDs and seminars -- not Quixtar's cosmetics, soaps and electronics.

The book is "Merchants of Deception" by Eric Scheibeler and is available in PDF format from the authors site.

"Let's Get The Word Out" (this site) is the interactive online version that has spawned a grassroots movement to stop the deception. It's free to explore and encourages visitors to get involved.

"Let's Get The Word Out" allows you to take action by sponsoring a word (or words) in the online book. We then link your word to a special page where you can post your story, comments and opinions about the issue (or remain annonymous). It's simple, it's fun, and yet it offers great value to others caught (or about to be caught) in a similar financial and emotional spiral as Eric Scheibeler and his family experienced.

Each word in the online book "Merchants of Deception" will be sponsored and tagged by someone. We invite you to be that someone. We are accepting donations (starting at $2 per word). Approximately half of all monies donated will be used to further the cause, help others who have suffered, or cover legal expenses in worthwhile lawsuits. We use the rest to feed the crew, pay for developers, techie stuff and getting the word out.

As a "Word Sponsors" you will not only help the cause, but you'll get the benefits of membership, including:
  • A Pop-up page, linked to the word(s) you sponsor
  • Your own "Word Sponsor" mini web site to share with others.
    • your story or comments blasted across the web
    • your photo (if it's not too scarry ;-)
    • link to any site you might have
  • Ability to post on the Amway QuixSand Blog
  • Periodic newsletters to keep you in the loop
  • and of course, a big "Thank You"
So that's the scoop. We're helping folks dig out of the sand and prevent others from falling in. It's the collective stories and personal opinions of everyone that will make a difference. Will you join us?

What's Froogle? Can people find your website's products or services listed?
As A Website owner, the first question you need to ask yourself is: "Where do customers shop?"

  • Consumers frequent places that are familiar
  • Consumers frequent places that are convenient
  • Consumers frequent places with fair prices
  • Consumers frequent places that are well advertised
  • Consumers frequent places they ve shopped at in the past.
So what does knowing where customers shop have to do with Froogle, the comparison shopping engine? Well simply put; many people trust Google's Foogle and they are familiar with Google because it's well promoted, they've been there before and it's always convenient. While Google's Froogle doesn't establish pricing on any items listed in their comparison shopping engine themself, they do allow shoppers to find good prices and merchants to set pricing as they wish. Google has hammered the consumer's nail right on its head.

Perhaps is one of those unusual ex...continued...

Does your website target Mompreneurs?

Source: DSA.org
I recently checked the "gender stats" available from the Direct Sales Association, 79.9% of people in "direct sales" are women. Even without a calculator, I can figure the men total a paltry 20.1%. Many of the women in our industry (and prospects we seek) are current or future moms. It was only a matter of time before a new term has come on the scene: Mompreneurism.

Yes, you're reading it right. According to authors Patricia Cobe and Ellen Parlapiano, who trademarked the term "mompreneurs" and were recently featured in Time magazine and various other programs like Oprah; their mompreneurs online website draws millions of visitors each month.

In reading through the Mompreneurs Online web site you'll learn that they've interviewed hundreds of work-from-home mothers. Their interviews revealed that these 'Mompreneur' women share certain secrets for their savvy web strategies. Don't miss the interesting points the...continued...

Let's talk about your website's products or services. Question: can they be marketed using a pay per click approach
Perhaps the product or service offered by your website is not widely known by consumers. This can be a positive or a negative depending on the mindset of your potential visitor. What's important in all cases, is that you provide the features and benefits that your product or service offers and focus on that at your site. If a customer likes what you offer, they will naturally want to recommend it to others and this helps grow your business through positive word-of-mouth.

As A Website owner you know your product and you've set your goals. Your web page, site, or blog is up and you're pondering methods to get targeted traffic.

Can your website's products or services be sold using a pay per click approach or not? That's your first question, right? But equally important, can you figure out a pay per click campaign that generates more solid customers than expens...continued...
